D.W.Bradbridge was born and bred in Bolton. He has a long standing interest in genealogy and local history, which led him to write his first novel, "The Winter Siege", a murder mystery set in the town of Nantwich during the English Civil War. The Daniel Cheswis mysteries series continues with "A Soldier of Substance" and "The Combermere Legacy".
His latest book "The Saints' Reckoning" is scheduled for launch in early 2018.
